"Levitated Mass" by Michael Heizer

The ROCK, as it is called, is dedicated to the memory of Nancy Daly.  Nancy was an outstanding advocated for children in the foster care system in Los Angeles County and served on the voluntary Childrens' Commission.  She advocated for the creation of the separate Department of Children and Family Services.  She helped found the United Friends of the Children to aid and support children in foster care.  She was also married to Robert A. Daly, CBS executive, and L. A. Mayor Richard Riordan.  This is a fine tribute to Nancy MacNeil Daly Riordan..
